Habits4Miracles by Rahul Karan Sharma is a motivational quick read that will help us develop and maintain habits useful for our inner growth, career progression, and well-being. The author offers us eight tools he calls “M.I.R.A.C.L.E.S.” They include the importance of mind talk, working on new creative ideas, the benefits of reading and self-analysis, the necessity to stay calm in every situation, the significance of working out and how to get fit step by step, and more. The Call to Action after every chapter gives practical recommendations regarding every tool. This is a great book for fans of the self-help genre and inspirational literature.

Habits4Miracles is an eye-opener for an attentive reader. Rahul Karan Sharma introduces easy and accomplishable steps to achieve our goals in both our personal and professional life. I got a boost of energy after reading a chapter about the implementation of physical exercises in our everyday routine. Rahul speaks about only ten minutes daily as a basis for workouts, which does not require much effort, even in a very busy work schedule. Also, Rahul gives a piece of innovative advice to pay attention to our inner dialogue and even address ourselves in the third person for a better understanding of our hidden needs and aspirations to react to them positively. Thus, even our constant inner dialogue can become a functional tool if we change our approach to it. The author includes many inspiring stories from his personal experience, making Habits4Miracles a reliable and engaging read. I appreciated the friendly tone of the book and the well-researched arguments of this distinguished author.

Habits4Miracles is an excellent selection for those who want to discover a new approach to making guided, self-motivated changes.

The concepts are discussed in a logical manner that makes them a lot easier to understand and follow. Our self-talk in our minds (“mind talk”) can seriously affect our lives without us even realizing it. Is our mind talking positively or negatively? This can dramatically affect how we feel about ourselves and how we react to events. The M.I.R.A.C.L.E.S. outline comprises Mind talk, Ideation, Reading, Analyzing our thoughts, Calmness, Listening to our inner voice, Exercise, and Silence. These are all key habits to adopt and foster to strengthen our inner dialogue and create a happier life.

Rahul Karan Sharma writes in a straightforward and direct way which enables readers to absorb the information easily. I especially liked his call-to-action activities at the end of each chapter as he provides manageable tasks to complete. Readers can implement these practices in their daily lives for positive habits to develop. I could not believe how difficult it was to apply the call–to–action relating to silence. It was hard to sit still in silence at first, listening to my thoughts for five minutes. I was later able to increase the amount of time by practicing each day. The simple approach of Habits4Miracles shows readers that they can train their minds to focus on positivity with healthy patterns to create miracles and magic in their lives.
