Healing - Beyond Pills & Potions is informative and a must-read for caregivers and healers to give them a different view on the nuances of caregiving and healing. The chapters give curative suggestions, explaining the diagnosis, and detailed plans that will help change the ways of practice and how patients respond. Reading this book is also a good way to decipher the mind-body connection as the topic has been dealt with extensively, expansively, and methodically. I like Steve Bierman's approach to the topic which is unique and empowering. It will help readers, especially those who are doctors, caregivers, and healers, look beyond the traditional way of taking care of patients. The tools and techniques can be easily incorporated into practice and will definitely help when it comes to improving the doctor/patient interaction.
