Carlos, Jimmy, Cindy, and Michelle noticed Mrs. Kingsley was having trouble walking and they offered to carry her groceries. Mrs. Kingsley was happy and she told them she could use their help with other chores. The children were ready to help and Isabella wanted to join them. They decided to tend her yard and Carlos was happy to rake. Cindy and Michelle decided to do the weeding. Mrs. Kingsley had a chore for them every day and the children happily did these for her. Mrs. Kingsley decided to treat them to ice cream sundaes for all their help and hard work that entire week. Once they finished eating, Mrs. Kingsley said she would clean up instead of making the children do it.

The short and simple sentences make it easy for children to comprehend easily that it is important to learn about love, compassion, helping others, and kindness from a very young age.
