Raised in a loving Christian home, Courtney Austin became a popular singer at a very young age. As she gets older, Courtney continues to uphold the promises she made to her father in her youth; never touch drugs and abstain from premarital sex. Unfortunately, he forgot to add refrain from imbibing alcoholic beverages to his list. Pulled over for driving while intoxicated, Courtney attempts to bribe the officer, and the outraged man arrests her. Faced with the choice of community service or six months in jail, Courtney reluctantly chooses to work at Hollister House, the local children's home. The arresting officer believes her sentence is a miscarriage of justice and lets everyone at the home know it. Will the consequences of her ill-advised actions haunt her for the rest of her life? Or can she overcome her mistakes and make a fresh start in a new life?

Suspense and danger are combined with romance in the exciting novel, Hollister House by Suzie Bocock. With engaging characters, a riveting storyline, and a convoluted plot, it is an unputdownable book. Filled with twists and turns, the story gradually builds to an unexpected crisis, subsequently leading to a stunning and satisfying conclusion. Faith in God is a golden thread weaving through the plot, creating an inspiring storyline. With the elements of personal loss, falling away, remembering God's love, and transformation, it is a stunning novel that will delight Christian readers from young adults on up.
