I Breathe For Me by Reesa Shayne is an empowering and uplifting picture book for young children. If your child struggles with self-love and acceptance, then this book will be perfect for turning those negative thoughts around. A young girl named Gabby sticks to her self-beliefs and mantra when she faces anything tough in her life. Whether tricky math questions in class or trying a new activity, Gabby always remembers to breathe. Remembering this helps Gabby to know that she can do anything if she just takes a moment to stop and take a breath while reciting, "There is nothing I lack." Do you have a mantra like Gabby? If not, maybe try to think of one.

I Breathe For Me was a pleasure to read. From start to finish, talented author Reesa Shayne will delight young readers with her positivity-filled rhymes. This book will not only entertain children, but it will also give them every ounce of encouragement they'll need while growing up. It will teach them to believe in themselves and never to give up. This is essential for them to learn at a young age as it will set them up for adulthood. The content has been perfectly written and children will follow along with ease. The illustrations by Uttara Garg are professional and colorful and fit nicely within the storyline. I was impressed with Reesa's wonderful creation and can't wait to see what she has to teach children next. Keep up the great work, and stay creative!

I Breathe For Me is a children's book about positive affirmation, written by Reesa Shayne and illustrated by Uttara Garg. When young Gabby wakes up each morning, she stretches and lets out a big roar. Gabby then rides her bike to school, up and down the biggest of hills. She sits at her school desk about to begin a test, already knowing she can pass. Relying on her inner strength at every turn, Gabby always holds her head up high and feels strong, regardless of the task ahead. She is strong, smart, growing, and learning, and already knows that she wants to become a veterinarian. If something makes Gabby angry, she finds a place away from the world and yells, letting all the tension fall away. Once done, Gabby relaxes and breathes, meditating in a quiet space as she completes her daily mantras, giving herself inner strength, confidence, and self-belief.

I was quite taken by Gabby's head space and outlook on life. Reesa Shayne has created an amazing young character who is determined to see the light at the end of every tunnel in life. It is often easy to become a defeatist, believing that the world is out to get you with every bump and turn, but in learning to channel your thoughts through positive affirmation, you become strong, almost invincible with every day that passes. Children aged ten years and over will gain amazing insight by reading and absorbing the message of I Breathe For Me, and I recommend it to all those young readers who find life to be more than a challenge. What a great read!

Controlling breathing is one of the simplest ways to relax. If children learn to take a moment for themselves and breathe, they can better channel their emotions. Reesa Shayne shows us the benefits of this activity in I Breathe For Me. The story is about Gabby, a lovely little girl who explains her daily activities. When she wakes up in the morning, the first thing she does is breathe and stretch, so she starts the day with enthusiasm. She faces challenges, such as taking a test or being in a class with a complex subject, but she stays in control thanks to her breathing. Some situations are more difficult than others. However, she knows that her strength lies within her, and if she concentrates, she can be as strong as a titan.

I liked Gabby because she is an inspiring character who faces all the challenges that come her way. She seeks to have positive thoughts, even if the situation is complicated. Being a child, she gets angry and frustrated easily, but she knows how to calm herself down. She goes through situations that many young readers can relate to. The illustrations are vibrant and charming, with expressive characters. Reesa Shayne uses short and melodious sentences, giving the narrative a fun touch. She shares messages that are useful to avoid stressful situations and motivate children to express their emotions in the right way. At the end of the book, the author includes a practical section with a breathing activity and positive affirmations that children and parents can do together. I Breathe For Me is ideal for learning how to enjoy every moment of the day through breath control.
