I Like Me And I Love Me - A Self-Love activity book by Abby Zaitley is a perfect mental toolbox for kids to use, with many coping skills throughout, utilizing reading, writing, and coloring to learn to like and love oneself. From beginning to end, the author helps a child reader build self-esteem. Activities in this book even teach stretches, how not to be afraid to ask for help, to learn from mistakes, to follow your dreams, to care for others and for the child to believe in themselves. This is a true self-help workbook to save a parent hundreds of dollars in psychiatrist trips.
The pace of this book is just like that of a coloring book that combats stress. What better way to teach a child, as people mostly associate coloring books with kids. The content is self-love and is full of examples and suggestions, from dreams to believing in oneself. Abby Zaitley’s style is excellent, as the words and illustrations are big. There is plenty of room to doodle, highlight or take notes. I learned a few lessons myself. I like the interaction part, such as writing within the blanks and spaces. Many kids are going to have better self-esteem. This is a superbly put together self-help book. I Like Me And I Love Me - A Self-Love activity book by Abby Zaitley should be in a child’s life as early as possible, such as preschool and kindergarten, whether public, private or homeschooled. In closing, hopefully, this activity book will ensure that no child is left out.
