With life's hustle and bustle, we all need an outlet to release and let go. In Ignite Wellness, Open to Joy: A Guide to Integrate More Health & Happiness into Your Daily Lifestyle by Heather Nadine Lenz, you will discover various aspects of tapping into yourself and nature, and how your surroundings can impact you. In Heather's book, she shows how using yoga, meditation, journaling and performing introspective exercises can help the reader in changing their outlook on life and its influences. There is something for everyone within these chapters, from loving, eating, exercising, parenting, caregiving, relaxing, sleeping and praying to creating Feng Shui in your home. It is important to understand that everything we do requires elements of balance. It's never a great idea to overdo things especially when feeling stressed. When we begin to experience stress or feel overwhelmed, we tax our system which stimulates disease and illnesses. The focus instead should be on our overall wellness from mental and financial to spiritual.
I loved this book. In addition to the anecdotes and words of affirmation and inspiration from Deepak Chopra, Mother Teresa and Eckhart Tolle amongst others, there were beautiful colorful pictures to help in creating the elements of balance, peace, and happiness. Heather indicates that the things we take for granted - like hugs, the sun, making new friends, laughing and aromatherapy - can become extremely rewarding for our well-being. Additionally, you will discover the essential elements of many ways to improve your life from the habits of happy couples, habits of friendships that last and water therapy to eating well during your workday. Heather helps to educate on how to dig deep within yourself to gain a better understanding of how what you do, see, hear and say impacts your being. If you're seeking solace, a different outcome and ways to make a paradigm shift in your life, get your copy of this book today - you will be glad that you did.
