Impact Parenting by Rachel Gunn is helpful for parents and caregivers of children in maintaining how parents’ rules work at home. “As parents, we are the experts on our children, and we should also seek wisdom and insight from those in our trusted circle” is true. Rachel includes guides to help parents respond positively. That creates impactful parenting. Would we all like to have a healthy home? I would have liked that growing up. The author writes from her own experience, thus, she is open and frank. This well-written book is relatable due to her life experiences with her children and friends. The book is also relatable to all parents. Choosing not to use a cell phone once children are home from school creates a natural environment for both children and parents. The key is communication.
