Insatiable in a Kilt: Hot Scots, Book 6 is a contemporary sizzling romance written by Anna Durand. Keely O’Shea had experienced quite enough romance by her fortieth year. Her second divorce had even been finalized on her birthday, and her one live-in relationship was every bit as unsatisfying as those two disastrous marriages. So, there was no chance in hell that she would even be tempted to have anything to do with billionaire Evan MacTaggart. For one thing, he was twenty-nine years young. For another, he was a man, and she just wasn’t falling for another one, especially the man who had somehow swept her off her feet in Paris, ravished her in an alleyway, dumped her unceremoniously into a taxicab, and vanished.
Anna Durand’s Insatiable in a Kilt: Hot Scots, Book 6 smokes from the very first pages as the two main characters indulge in a whirlwind anonymous lovemaking session in Paris and find themselves negotiating business terms months later. Durand’s characters are a delight and seeing how they mix business with their increasing attraction for each other is entertaining indeed. I’ve enjoyed each of the preceding books in this series and was pleased to find the author had found a MacTaggart cousin to write about. Fans of sizzling romance will have much to enjoy in this steamy tale of two characters who were made to be together. They’ll also most likely appreciate Durand’s choice of an older woman and a younger man for this tale. Her plot works on a number of levels, giving this story suspense and drama as well as sizzle, and her characters are well-defined and credible. Durand’s Hot Scots family saga just keeps on getting better. Insatiable in a Kilt: Hot Scots, Book 6 is most highly recommended.
