In Intercepted: The Agents of Justice Series Book 1 by Susanna Haymond, we meet an exciting cast of characters. Told from their points of view, we follow DEA partners Grant and Greg; FBI agent Daniel; Anthony and Nora, two friends who went on a mission to Mexico; and a few other characters as things start picking up. This story took time to set up, but the action and faith elements that followed were well worth it. I loved seeing the different groups working together. The POV style fits perfectly with the mystery and suspense themes offered. Intercepted has fun characters, surprising twists, and faith moments.
Intercepted by Susanna Haymond has a wonderful balance of faith, suspense, and a slow-burning romance. I loved meeting Nora and her new friends. The inspirational quotes surprised me in the best ways. I loved seeing how all the different parts of the story fitted together, and I can't wait to read the sequel. Although lighter on romance than some I have read, I loved the attention to detail, providing messages of healing and the power of praying before jumping into new adventures. This enhanced the story and endeared me to the characters. Intercepted offers a beautiful story of faith, hope, and selfless love, firmly rooted in Christ when facing adversity.
