Irrevocable Trust is a pulsating crime thriller by B. H. Heit. Rick Cervantes is a resourceful young man whose grandparents escaped prosecution from the Revolutionary Forces of Fidel Castro in the late 1950s. In the present day, Rick runs a successful business in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. But his grandfather's death invokes an old family trust to be split among the Cervantes descendants, worth over a billion dollars. When Colonel Manuela Barrios, an official of the Cuban government, gets wind of the value of the trust, she promptly plans a murderous spree to bring the money back to Cuba and bask in the glory. One by one, Rick's family members are brutally murdered, leaving him to fend on his own. He must now use every bit of cunning and resources at his disposal to fight back and claim his rightful inheritance.

Author B. H. Heit seamlessly incorporates actual historical events to craft a well-woven yarn that keeps you engaged all the way through. Irrevocable Trust is entertaining from start to finish. The narrative shifts locations through multiple countries that provide a sense of the stakes involved in the story. The plot flies by with its share of twists and turns, and it makes you turn the pages with eager anticipation of what's to come. I found the characters compelling and easy to relate to. Each fulfills their role to perfection to move the plot forward. I especially enjoyed Rick's resilience and will to fight against all odds. If you enjoy fast-paced thrillers, Irrevocable Trust is the book for you.
