It Will Always Be You by Tina Ness is the story of Elizabeth and Marshall. Elizabeth is a hotel manager with a pretty horrible track record in relationships. When she meets the gorgeous Marshal she is so attracted to him that she gets nervous and makes a spectacle of herself each time. She gets flustered with every encounter because she knows she’s not beautiful like her sister — her twin sister — and she relegates him to the role of unattainable womanizer. Tina Ness has written a solid story and she does a good job of shattering all Elizabeth’s misconceptions. The truth is that both she and Marshall come with lots of issues and baggage that could complicate any relationship between them. But the chemistry between them is completely undeniable, forcing them to embark on this journey of healing and self-awareness.
One of the reasons It Will Always Be You is such a compelling story is that Elizabeth is kind of an 'Every Woman.' She has pretty basic insecurities to which we can all relate, particularly the breathlessness that comes from interacting with a hottie like Marshall. But the other reason this is a keeper is that Tina Ness keeps you guessing with twists and turns that catapult this from your basic romance novel to an actual love story. The horrible attack on Elizabeth isn’t just gratuitous; it actually enhances the story and the development of her relationship with Marshall. This story has it all; a bit of mystery, tons of relationship baggage, hot sex and fun characters. Tina Ness has created a wonderful story to get lost in for a few hours.
