It's Not About Love: At Least Not the Way You Think by Jamie Murray is one of the most informative books I have ever had the privilege to read about how to handle the ups and downs that life throws at a person. The author has written a very down-to-earth book about her own life and what she has experienced in her life, especially in her marriage. Jamie has written from the heart and at times with a tongue-in-cheek style. Jamie accepts and respects her family and those she came in contact with during the writing of this book. The author gives a list of books that a person can read to help them face their demons and accept that they are just human beings. This is a testament to the fact that the author really would like to be the caregiver of the world or at least of those who have the courage to read her book.

In It’s Not About Love: At Least Not the Way You Think by Jamie Murray, the reader’s attention is caught from the opening salvo until the end and they will find themselves marking passages and then going back again for another read. I found that there were many instances in the reading of this book that I could relate to my own life and the fact that I have stayed married to my husband through thick and thin, but I realize that we both support each other. This is something that the author states as well. It’s Not About Love is a book that is well worth a read. Thank you, Jamie, for this wonderful soul-searching book.
