Jerry for President 2024 by Michael and Danny D’Agostino is about Jerry, a chicken whose life has been shaped by overwhelming burdens, relentless setbacks, and deep emotional turmoil. Jerry had nightmarish sadness and bouts of self-doubt as he struggled to understand his purpose in life. When Jerry finds himself suddenly unemployed, he has no idea what to do next, until he makes a bold decision to change his life. Jerry was determined to face uncertainty on his own terms and become his own man, or chicken. Jerry tries to find happiness in the arts, theater, science, and business, but ultimately fails. Realizing he needs to claim his place in a world that sorts individuals into nothings and somethings, Jerry makes a startling choice: he will run for President of the United States. This marks the beginning of a long, unpredictable, and strangely inspiring quest for greatness.

Jerry for President 2024 by Michael and Danny D’Agostino kept me engaged throughout. I was hooked from the start and could not put the book down. Jerry's search for purpose is woven throughout the narrative and was entertaining. The plot was easy to follow and filled with humor from beginning to end. The illustrations were expressive, bold, and intentionally exaggerated. This highlights the humor in the book and Jerry’s emotional highs and lows. The events were descriptive and easy to visualize if you use your imagination. Jerry’s character is funny, determined, has flaws, and is relatable to everyone. The book was beautifully written, and all readers can relate to Jerry’s personal transformation.

Jerry for President 2024, by Michael and Danny D’Agostino, is a satirical novel that follows Jerry, a chicken navigating modern Chicago in search of purpose, dignity, and a place in the world. Set against familiar city landmarks, the story opens with Jerry strutting through Little Italy, radiating confidence and style, before confronting the realities of low-paying work, family tension, and constant misunderstanding. Jerry’s life unfolds as a series of bold attempts to define himself: he loses a job, clashes with his adopted family, explores art and theater, pursues science and philosophy through obsessive reading, launches a wildly popular hot dog stand, and repeatedly finds himself undermined by authority, bureaucracy, or bad luck. The narrative steadily escalates toward a larger symbolic vision, in which Jerry’s personal struggles serve as a commentary on ambition, fairness, and the absurdities of modern life, all while rooted in exaggeration and irony.

The writing style leans heavily into theatrical dialogue, visual humor, and pop-culture references, giving the novel the feel of a stage comedy crossed with political parody. Scenes are structured episodically, allowing the story to jump quickly from domestic conflict to public spectacle without lingering too long in any one place. This brisk pacing keeps the narrative energetic and suits the exaggerated premise. Michael and Danny D’Agostino rely on contrast between Jerry’s sincerity and the indifference of institutions, between lofty ideals and petty obstacles, to drive humor and momentum. Readers who enjoy broad satire, anthropomorphic characters, and social commentary filtered through comedy will find much to enjoy here. Fans of political lampooning, absurdist storytelling, and stories that mix heartfelt aspiration with sharp wit will likely appreciate Jerry for President 2024 and the authors' willingness to push a whimsical idea to its fullest, most outrageous conclusion.

Michael and Danny D'Agostino's Jerry For President 2024 is an illustrated novel about Jerry, a resilient talking chicken. Jerry lives in Chicago but can't seem to find his place in the world. He works in bad jobs, clashes with his critical adoptive family, and leans on a strange but loyal group of friends. Jerry keeps trying to reinvent himself—first as an artist, then as a scientist, then as a small business owner—but each attempt ends in public failure. After losing his home and sense of direction, he searches for his origins and experiences a personal low point that forces him to confront who he really is. A strange spiritual experience pushes Jerry toward an unexpected path: politics. What seems like a joke slowly turns into a serious presidential campaign full of chaos and satire. Will Jerry’s awkward run for office finally give his life meaning, or will it crash like everything else?

Jerry For President 2024 blends political satire, silly comedy, and social observation into a story that moves fast and stays lively. Michael and Danny D'Agostino's writing style is playful and exaggerated. They skillfully use humor to point out how shallow ambition, media hysteria, and campaign promises often play out in real life. Jerry’s many failures make him strangely relatable, even as a chicken running for president, and his growth comes from persistence and honesty. The illustrated format adds to the cartoon-like tone and keeps the story light. Set in urban America, the novel pokes fun at voter groups, food culture, and identity politics without becoming too serious or moralizing. Fans who enjoy satire and dark humor will love this book. It will also appeal to readers who enjoy comedy that mixes sharp takes on modern-day society. Very highly recommended.

Jerry for President 2024 by Michael and Danny D’Agostino is a story about an ambitious chicken. He left home after his adoptive human father mocked his dreams of being a musician. Jerry tried different roles. He became a clever and well-liked figure on campus, with the name Doctor Jerry Hawking. He also ran a profitable hotdog stand. These ventures eventually failed, but Jerry then had an inspiring dream where he met God. This prompted him to run for President. His campaign promises included an end to SAT scores and a ban on eating chicken. To counteract the negative public image and provide a solution to his proposed ban, he created a healthy veggie snack called Jerry’s Redneck Chicken Patties. Jerry lost the election. However, he achieved internal peace by being honored as a Mahatma and spent his remaining days devoting himself to the assistance of other people and creatures with growth, wisdom, and a little humor.

Jerry for President 2024 by Michael and Danny D’Agostino is a satirical novel whose action is episodic and humorous. The book explores themes of tenacity, identity, purpose, and service. Jerry’s character development is noteworthy, from a disgruntled worker to a popular scholar to a profitable business owner, but ultimately finding peace as a Mahatma who helps the less fortunate. The writing style is comical, energetic, and fast-paced. The use of funny images brings its quirky characters and scenes to life and emphasizes ridiculous and laughable scenes, which complement the comedic tone and atmosphere and the authors’ storytelling. Recommended for those who enjoy satire, political parodies, underdog stories with unique lead characters and lessons, and lighthearted, fast-paced reads. Suitable for young readers and adults alike.

Jerry for President 2024: The Illustrated Ebook by Michael and Danny D’Agostino is a comedic tall tale. Jerry, a chicken, was adopted by a human family, not as a pet but as a son. Unfortunately, only his adoptive mother seems to value him. His adoptive father constantly belittles him. Likewise, his boss disrespects him and fires him. Jerry, now out of a job, chooses to leave his family and find himself. He initially becomes consumed with learning, so he starts reading at the library. He expresses his new knowledge through a theoretical venture that is quickly burned down. Jerry pursues success through various avenues. He faces failure with optimism and determination. Eventually, he feels the call to run for president of the United States of America.

I enjoyed reading Jerry for President 2024 by Michael and Danny D’Agostino. I had to agree to suspend my disbelief to truly immerse myself in a world where people understand the speech of a chicken. I like the plot point where Jerry was secretly planning to shut down KFC and other chicken locations if he became president. I think that the D’Agostino brothers did a great job with the pacing. Despite a lot of the characters not being named, the cast felt very real and relatable. I laughed out loud when I saw how some people in Jerry’s friend circle still ate chicken. I recommend Jerry for President 2024: The Illustrated Ebook to everyone looking for a short, fun read

Jerry for President 2024 by Michael D'Agostino and Danny D’Agostino tells the story of a chicken named Jerry's life challenges from being adopted into a family that did not fully accept him to feeling pressured into a life he wasn't ready for. Jerry took a leap of faith by leaving his foster home and starting again from scratch. Jerry became a scholar and a cook during this period with high hopes of making it, but things didn't go as planned. Devastated, he embarked on another incredible journey of looking for his ancestral roots. What he discovered led to his dream of running for the US presidency. How on earth can a chicken run for President? Did Jerry meet any of his relatives? What happened to Jerry at the end? Read this intriguing story that will keep you glued to the pages from start to finish.

Jerry for President 2024: The Illustrated Ebook explains a lot about finding purpose in a humorous way. The book is enriched with powerful themes such as resilience, kindness, hard work, grit, self-identity, and courage. The narrative shows how tough it can be when one tries to be independent. I love how positively oriented Jerry is from start to finish, as it encourages readers to ignore naysayers and believe in themselves more. The colourful illustrations bring life to the story. My favourite part is Jerry's Chicken language and how everybody seems to understand him despite him being a chicken. It shows unique storytelling on the part of authors Michael D'Agostino and Danny D’Agostino.

Jerry for President 2024 by Michael and Danny D'Agostino follows a Chicago chicken named Jerry, who leaves home and his human family after a breakdown with authority and care systems. Making his way around the city with limited resources, Jerry pursues public legitimacy as a means to protect chickens from legal harm. Each attempt to secure standing collapses when institutions assert their limits. After being hit from every direction with loss, exposure, and state intervention, Jerry pivots to electoral politics and enters the national stage with the help of a small group of allies. His candidacy attracts attention across social and economic lines and provokes resistance from those whose livelihoods depend on chickens. As pressure mounts, Jerry is forced into a negotiation that links his political ambition to market solutions, setting the terms for a public reckoning that reshapes his path.

It's all fun and games until a chicken is living in a cardboard box behind a Dunkin' Donuts on the North Side of Chicago, am I right? Jerry for President 2024 by Michael and Danny D'Agostino is an intelligently witty tale, with a huge helping of humor and loads of heart. Jerry is a chicken among humans, and he ricochets through city life with mixed results. The inclusion of photography to illustrate Jerry's story is hilarious, with Jerry taking his physical form in what looks like a beloved stuffed animal. But even in this humor are the moments of reality. Jerry is running against Donald Trump, and even as a chicken, he wants to be taken seriously as a citizen with ideas, and for people to eat plant-based patties, which is translated by Otis. Overall, this is an entertaining read that I had so much fun diving into, and I am certain others will too.

Jerry for President 2024 by Michael and Danny D'Agostino plays out in the Chicago of 2024. Jerry, the chicken with style and attitude, reluctantly arrives at work, where his menial job is to clean out cages. He got fired and decided to change his life pattern. He left his adopted home behind, studied at the library, and attended drama class. He opened a garage theater and wrote his first play. He then turned to science, becoming a self-styled authority and achieving popularity on campus. His past caught up with him, and he was discredited. Undeterred, he opened a hot dog stand, only to be closed down by the health department. He attempted suicide while depressed, but was saved and entered counselling. He met God in a dream and was tasked to free the chickens in his role as a future president of the United States. His whirlwind election campaign drew a hostile reaction from the opposition. When his save-the-chickens agenda became clear, a backlash ensued. What followed is a tale of courage and success in the face of adversity as Jerry reinvented his campaign with unexpected results.

Jerry for President 2024 describes how Jerry was motivated to embark on a presidential election campaign. He initially sought to end cruelty to chickens, and then expanded his vision to animals in general. It quickly broadened with increasingly bolder promises that would appeal to both narrow sectional interests and a wider audience. The similarity to populist politics is inescapable. Michael and Danny D'Agostino's writing style is punchy, reflecting the street language of the times, and with chicken dialogue translated by friends and well-wishers. The illustrations add depth and humour to the story, which is suitably far-fetched and quirky. One of the incongruities of political satire is that it often mirrors the truth, whether directly or by insinuation. Readers will be left pondering the lessons. The inevitable comparisons are bound to cause amusement and spark lively debate. This is a story that the whole family can enjoy, with some life lessons thrown in as a bonus.
