Just for Today by Mark Edmondson is a motivational book for little kids who need a reminder that they can be whatever they want. The story teaches children about different attributes of animals that they can apply in their daily lives. Children need a positive attitude to life, and the parents must reinforce these values in their offspring as they grow up. Each page can be a mantra for their lives. We can learn a lot from animal behavior, like being as resilient as a penguin, as noble as an elephant, or, my favorite, how to be friendly like a kangaroo. Each page consists of an adjective that describes an animal perfectly and a beautiful silhouette of the animal. Boost your child's confidence by reading this book with them.
Mark Edmondson has done it again. Just for Today is another beautiful work. I loved reading his other book, Animal Alphabet. You can never go wrong with Edmondson's books. The pictures are vibrant and colorful, which is perfect for kids because they are attracted to bright colors. The animals are showcased using silhouette illustrations. The pictures can be a seek-and-find game for you and your kids. This book can also be useful for adults who require a motivational boost for the day. Parents and guardians, be as clever as a monkey and read this story with your children.
