Keep It Super Simple by Bronwen Sciortino is a concise but detailed guide that will help you free yourself from the stress of perfectionism. Throughout this book, you will discover fantastic ways to change your mindset and life. Do you often take on the responsibilities of others? Are you constantly rescuing people from their problems at the expense of your own needs? Can you say No to someone without feelings of guilt and remorse? Do you set yourself impossible targets, then feel like a failure when you haven’t met them? Learn how to completely reorganize your daily routine and ‘Keep it Simple’. Complete the simple but thought-provoking questions at the end of each chapter and discard the ball and chain of perfectionism for good.

If you are the type of person that is constantly putting yourself down for not achieving the impossible, but never praising yourself for any achievement, then you need to read Keep It Super Simple by Bronwen Sciortino. This guide is absolutely jam-packed with insight into why you always put your own needs at the bottom of your daily to-do list. Understand where your distorted view of success originates from, and how to change it. I related to the spinning plates lifestyle and, through the questions at the end of each chapter, it gave me a powerful insight into the reasons I do this, but more importantly how to change. I have also learned that making time for activities I enjoy, or saying No, is not something to feel guilty about but celebrated, because you are living life more simply. The section about stepping out of your comfort zone was excellent. This book could have been written for me because it was that insightful, and I would highly recommend it to anyone that is the rescuer to everyone apart from themselves.
