Keisha the Kind in My Little Sister Situation is yet another colorful addition to the Team Supercrew Series by Julie Ann Penn and Darren Penn. Danny, a young boy who loves reading comic books, is left with the responsibility of watching and taking care of his little sister by his father. After being interrupted from doing his own thing, Danny becomes a bit frustrated. He feels his younger sister always takes his toys, wrecks his stuff, and gets all the attention from his parents and everyone else. Danny calls out for Keisha the Kind, seeking her help. It doesn't take much time for Keisha the Kind to appear, and soon she reminds Danny of his younger days and tells him to lead by example and become a hero to his younger sister.
Keisha the Kind in My Little Sister Situation is a children's picture book that showcases the importance of kindness and empathy. Julie Ann Penn and Darren Penn share the exploits of Keisha the Kind, a superhero blessed with the awesome ability of kindness that she spreads to anyone in need. Books like these help to teach kids the value of empathy and compassion for others at a tender age. The eye-catching illustrations by Sergio De Giorgi make the story all the more fun by bringing the characters to life. Keisha is a superhero that children will find easy to root for. I will definitely recommend this book for parents to introduce to their kids.
