Life’s Daily Treasure is a work of non-fiction in the inspirational subgenre. It is suitable for the general reading audience and was penned by author Richard V. Battle. The book contains 366 entries to be read one per day with the aim of providing readers with the inspiration and hope that they need to shut out the noise and negativity of everyday life whilst working to better themselves and their lives. With the entries taking inspiration from the Bible, national holidays, historical events, and motivational quotes from various people of note, the book aims to be a powerful tool in the daily battle to stay focused and motivated.
I adore the concept of a motivational or inspirational book being divided up into daily pieces for the reader to digest throughout the year. Too often such books are read over a weekend or two and the lessons are slowly forgotten over the coming months. Author Richard V. Battle’s format for this work encourages the reader to develop a daily habit of positivity and affirmation that will stay with them for a long time even if they only go through the 366 days once. The mixture of inspiration for the various entries is a big selling point of this book with a blend of well-chosen Bible passages, patriotic historical highlights, and general motivation from familiar names all being tied together with wisdom guidance from the author. Overall, Life’s Daily Treasure is a book of inspiration that will go the distance with readers, establishing a daily pattern of reflection and consideration that will set readers up to achieve their goals in the long term.
