Brittany Putzer is constantly turning to books to escape her dull suburban existence. She can be found most days, exploring new coffee houses and bookstores to pass the time. She craves caramel macchiatos, pumpkin spice goodies, and tall, dark, and fictional men (preferably in gray sweatpants). When she’s writing, her scribblings are dictated by her character’s persistent opinions and generous hearts (most of them anyway).
If she’s not writing, she’s soaring through the pages of other fictional worlds. Because of this, she’s also a lady of the night court, a scribe with an alpha shadow daddy (she’s afraid of heights so the other quadrant wasn’t an option), and a mafia princess with a touch her and die king. Additionally, Brittany loves the excitement of book conventions, both as a writer and a reader, where she loves to build everlasting friendships and eat tons of nachos and pizza.

Brittany Putzer brings us a suspenseful paranormal romance in Lily’s Tail: Wolves of Cold Creek. Shifters believe that once you find your mate, everything else will fall into place. Lily Pawson had her chance and killed her mate. After his death, she finds herself pregnant with his child. Lily has to keep her secret close to her heart. Azure, her twin brother, is a Guardian of Luna. Luna has already damned her, and she can’t imagine what would happen if her brother knew of her betrayal. Lily’s soul needs healing. When Azure sends the beta from his mate's pack to escort Lily to their new territory, she discovers that she might be open to second chances. That is, if she survives the men in military clothes abducting shifters.
Author Brittany Putzer has created a fantastical world filled with abundant sensory stimulation. From the start, the reader easily becomes absorbed in the story, becoming part of an amazing world. Written in the first person from the perspective of our two protagonists, the narrative makes the characters more relatable. Brilliant writing and witty dialogue bring the characters to life. This book ticks all the boxes when it comes to action and adventure. The plot is solid; the pace is steady, and there is real depth in this story. I loved the fact that it can be read as a stand-alone, even though it is part of the Wolves of Cold Creek series. Lily’s Tail is more suitable for a more mature audience as it contains graphic sexual activities and quite a bit of violence.
