While they work to prove their brother's innocence over a murder charge, a shadowy figure and horrifying nightmares haunt private investigators in the thrilling paranormal sleuth novel Lost Dreams: Book 2 in the Redstone Chronicles by J.T. Bishop. Mikey and Mason Redstone have unusual abilities that include the ability to ascertain otherworldly entities. Using their gifts to help those with problems outside of the natural realm of reality, Mason created the SCOPE Study of Cryptids or Paranormal Entities. Mason's former partner, Trick, recently joined SCOPE to handle the more mundane inquiries. When Margot Whitten hires SCOPE to find her brother, Trick accepts the case while Mason takes care of a client with unwanted ghosts. Both investigations take unfortunate and surprising turns, and Mason, Mikey, and Trick find themselves fighting for their lives against a psychotic murderer and an ancient evil entity. Can they solve both cases before they become the next victims? Or are they already too late?

Lost Dreams by J.T. Bishop is a brilliant and unforgettable paranormal mystery. With its terrifying monsters, both human and supernatural, and the exciting, horror-filled scenes, it is a thrilling story that incites the imagination and creates nightmares. The Redstone Chronicles and Detective Daniels and Remalla series are my favorite series, and Ms. Bishop is one of my favorite authors. Joining Mikey, Mason, Trick, Remalla, and Daniels in one of their spooky investigations is a great way to spend an excitement-filled afternoon. The eerie and suspenseful plots contain dramatic action-filled scenes infused with supernatural beings and paranormal elements. Each of the characters displays flaws and natural human qualities that make them relatable. I like how the two series cross over, giving the characters more depth and the story world more variety. Every one of the novels is captivating from the first page until the last, and I can't recommend them enough. Sleuthing fans who relish novels filled with spine-tingling action, ghouls, evil villains, and incorrigible, appealing heroes will enjoy following the Redstones and Trick as they work side-by-side with Daniels and Remalla to save the world one monster at a time.

Lost Dreams is a work of fiction in the paranormal and mystery genres and serves as the second installment in the Redstone Chronicles series. It is aimed at mature readers and was penned by J. T. Bishop. This book continues the story of Trick Monroe and Mason Redstone as they take on new cases at their P.I. agency. Trick is on the case of a missing brother. A mysterious entity following Mason complicates the inquiry. It leads them into a murder investigation in which Mason’s own brother is implicated. Combining their real-world and paranormal investigating skills, they must search for the evil behind the crime before they risk becoming the next victims.

I was delighted to be assigned the second installment in the Redstone Chronicles series, having previously reviewed the debut novel. It’s always gratifying to see an author who has managed such an excellent opening title in a good saga deliver again, and J. T. Bishop certainly delivers. The mystery at the heart of the story is layered and well-constructed, calling upon the skills of both protagonists to fully unravel. Those protagonists are also on top form, with the novel taking the opportunity to give us new insights into their pasts that push their development even further. Lost Dreams is a paranormal mystery that, like its predecessor, grounds itself through engaging characters and consistent world-building to create an edge-of-your-seat mystery that you’ll struggle to put down. I recommend this book to all fans of the genre, and I’m excited to see what the next book in the series brings to the table.

Lost Dreams is a paranormal fiction novel in the Redstone Chronicles series written by J.T. Bishop. Lost Dreams starts with a partnership of three people working hand in hand to locate the missing brother of a wealthy family: a typical missing person case with a huge reward. Sounds too good to be true, but who knows? The trio took up the case, thinking that they had hit the jackpot until the missing brother case turned sharply into a much more complex murder case. With one of the Redstone family members framed as the murderer, could they uncover the mystery behind the crime, or would it take blood for blood?

Lost Dreams by J.T. Bishop is a thrilling tale that consists of family drama, friendship, and many twists and turns to a mystery case. I really liked how every chapter has an unexpected lead or a surprising discovery. I thought that the combination of having Mikey and Mason work together as siblings to save their falling-out eldest brother, Max, was a brilliant mix, showing that true family love never breaks, no matter the hurt and familial wounds. I also sensed the fogginess around Mikey's dreams, which created an aura of mystery to the storyline. Lost Dreams is nothing short of adventurous and exhilarating, piecing together the storyline's ultimate puzzle while escaping death. Lost Dreams has me hooked to the core. I cannot wait to read the third book!
