Love at First Sight by Stina’s Pen is the first in what promises to be an excellent series. This book is something unique: an action-packed, intriguing story that keeps you hooked all the way through. The two lead characters are equally strong, both developed into real-world people with distinctly separate flaws and vulnerabilities. The action is non-stop all the way through, and there are plenty of twists and turns to keep you reading. It is a love story, but it’s also about the secrets people hide and ultimate power. It’s a story of growth, especially emotional, and every chapter will leave you hanging on, wanting more – you really will struggle to put this down. The detail in the story is second to none, making you feel like you are living it. Be warned – this is a mafia story, and some details may turn your stomach. It’s real, it’s punchy, and it doesn’t gloss over things. I loved this book and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for something different from their normal favorite genres – give it a go, you’ll love it.
