Love is one of the deepest and most complex feelings a human being can experience, but we must never forget that when we talk about love, it has been given to us by God. There is a lot of confusion on this topic nowadays, and we must sit down and think seriously about it. A book like Love Has No Feelings by Harvey Brooks will surely help Christian readers clarify their ideas about love once and for all. The author shares with them many thoughts and true stories of people who have tried to make sense of love in their relationships, be it in marriage, friendship, or ties with children and relatives. It is a journey that readers will be encouraged to take to discover everything they need to know about this fascinating subject.

Love Has No Feelings was a thought-provoking read, thanks to the many true stories that Harvey Brooks shares. Nothing is better than learning about a topic through other people's experiences because this gives you insights you might not otherwise have shared. I think that the author was correct when he included these stories and gave them so much prominence. I must point out that Brooks says things directly and persuasively, so it is interesting to read his opinions because they are often opposite to what we hear today. I recommend this work to anyone seeking advice or clarity about love and looking for a book to illuminate their path.

In Love Has No Feelings by Harvey Brooks, the author details scripture and presents stories that relate to it. Brooks examines the individual’s situation and gives the reader examples of the way Satan affected their story. He provides remarks about the turning point in their stories where their belief in God was able to strengthen their relationships and provide a happier outcome. The book covers many human connections by examining friendships, parent-child connections, and marriages. Brooks answers common spiritual questions and gives closing thoughts about the free will humans possess and the coming of Christ.

At first, it may seem as if the title is harsh, but Harvey Brooks explains that there are no feelings in love, only commitment to the ones we pledge to love. The author encourages his readers to actively love their spouses, friends, and relatives, and the declarations are inspirational. Each story is a real-life testimony, and even though the details aren’t always perfect, it shows the true human condition and the way following God’s direction can present a better outcome. Brooks provides advice no Christian should ignore, and many readers will be able to connect to it. The contents are motivational and easily relatable to readers. Love Has No Feelings would be a great book for anyone who needed the motivation to continue on a path that follows God. Additionally, the book would make a great gift for readers going through similar circumstances as any of the individuals mentioned in the book. Their stories could help the reader feel less alienated and prompt them to welcome Christ into their hearts.

Love helps us find strength in ourselves and allows us to bond with others, but it exists at different levels and changes according to the situation. To understand it better, Harvey Brooks defines this emotion and describes its importance in our approach to God. When we act with faith and sincerity, we can achieve true love in our lives. He then explains various types of relationships, such as marriage, family, and friends. Brooks shares anecdotes based on real events affecting different people and reviews the lesson from each story. He highlights concepts such as free will and taking advantage of the opportunities we receive in life. Love Has No Feelings teaches us to embody true love in our daily lives.

Harvey Brooks employs an informal narrative style and speaks directly to the reader, so the anecdotes feel familiar and sincere. He describes the importance of following God's precepts and striving for the well-being of both ourselves and others. Among the ideas that I liked the most are forgiving and forgetting because they enable us to maintain bonds with our loved ones. He illustrates these by using a variety of examples. Nobody is perfect, so we should not try to change others, which is why any relationship requires effort. If we learn to be understanding, it will benefit us throughout our lives. The stories also highlight equally fundamental social values. I recommend Love Has No Feelings because it teaches valuable lessons about love, friendship, and faith.

I do not believe any word in the English language has been more maligned and used completely out of context than the four-letter word that is supposed to signify the unity of an emotional bond. Love is thrown about so carelessly these days that the side effects of people not having an innate knowledge of what they are getting themselves into when they utter the word overwhelm us at every turn. Harvey Brooks believes there is a certain balance to love, a specificity to its purpose, and an exact manner in which that beautiful characteristic must be wielded. Read along and discover the true purpose of love as the Creator meant it to be in his book titled Love Has No Feelings.

Love Has No Feelings does not just preach about what we have heard time and again. Instead, Harvey Brooks uses other people's experiences, which they willingly share, to show a clear pattern concerning the message he wants to deliver. Some of the accounts may feel disjointed which only adds to my conviction that they are not contrived. In all of them, Brooks is clear about what went wrong and where it started. It is interesting to note that his view on the LGBTQ question is blunt, unapologetic, laced with facts, and as direct as can be. Unlike other writers I see, he does not mix his messaging by trying to conform to the norm. Love Has No Feelings is an eye-opener and a must-read for all intentional couples.
