Are you ready to open your heart and reawaken your confidence in love, affection, and adoration?
Love Me Breathless... Because Romance Never Dies (Love Poems) by Mary-Lisa Russo is a well-written poetry collection packed to the brim with emotion. The book begins with a well-organized table of contents and a note from the author with the advice of finding a soothing space in which to allow the collection to nurture one’s own well-being. I personally really liked this note as it gave the book a personal touch and I found that by following the author’s advice I was able not just to enjoy the collection of poems but to truly embrace them and their meaning. While I enjoyed each poem in the collection, it was the poem titled “Nothing Else Mattered” that genuinely touched me. I liked the way it did not focus on new love, but rather an established one that allowed me to feel not just the love that comes from a new romance, but the love that comes from enjoying the little things with another person. Overall, I found this collection to be both relaxing and rejuvenating as it has left me inspired to seek out the kind of love found in these poems for myself!
