Meet Polly the guitarist in the all-girl punk rock band Lovely Oblivion, and friend of the Late Nyght Smoke’s infamous Flynn Morgan, the bad boy in the rock industry. Lovely Oblivion: Polly by A.D. Craig follows our two rock stars Polly and Flynn as they decide to take their friendship to the next level. Besides, what’s a good romance without jealous exes, tabloids, rock concerts, and a bit of love thrown in between? Find out how they navigate their new relationship status as they embark on two separate tours, dodge the paparazzi, and try to make things work between them. While we join Polly and Flynn on this journey, we get a front-row seat to the ins and outs of the music industry, from music tours to radio interviews, and even red carpet events.
Where A.D. Craig’s Lovely Oblivion: Bex had little to no drama, it’s the opposite for Lovely Oblivion: Polly. While all the glitz and glamour may seem appealing from this mere peasant’s view, it’s not exactly a life I can imagine living. This gives you food for thought on what your next adventure will be. For Polly, she thought that she had everything planned. It makes her character credible in that regard, and I think that it’s something each reader can connect with. Again, A.D. Craig has a way of writing that brings these characters to life and the next thing I knew, I was finished reading the book. To say that I enjoyed this would be an understatement. This is by far my favorite in the series, and I recommend it 100%, especially if you’re looking for your next friends-to-lovers rock romance.
