Jennifer J. Lehr’s Love’s Cauldron: Reclaim Your Wild Feminine, Book 2 – Savior follows a lifelong search for spiritual wholeness through the author’s experiences of family trauma and recovery. Raised in a household where her father’s anger shaped daily life, she enters adulthood searching for a lasting sense of safety and belonging. Her years of therapy change how she understands an unhappy first marriage, while a prolonged illness makes her reconsider what it means to live fully. Her belief in the divine feminine draws her toward identifying as a witch, a person whose intuitive gifts can recognize the sacred within ordinary existence. Told through autobiographical essays alongside poetry, the book presents healing as a way of claiming the self and recognizing a greater bond with the living world.

Jennifer J. Lehr’s book, Savior, is an incredible spiritual self-help memoir, and the author has a wonderful way of making her beliefs approachable. The writing is beautifully candid, with a conversational quality that makes you feel welcomed into her world. I particularly appreciated seeing how her concern over her elderly dog Nutmeg’s surgery brings her trust in intuition into an everyday situation. Another favorite is her work with Nell, a young woman learning to read tarot, where the Four of Swords opens a discussion about the need for rest. I really enjoyed the way she treats those teachings as something readers can use in their own lives, and there is a sincerity throughout that I found genuinely moving. Well written and thoughtful, readers who enjoy feminine spirituality, as well as those who had the good fortune to read book one, Deliverance, will adore this.
