Mary is a Hairstylist/Hair Designer in the film industry with great faith and comes
from a very humbling, Christian background. She started out doing hair on Broadway Shows and onto the Television Networks, NBC and ABC.
Mary has had a passion for writing since her early childhood. "Me and Jesus:God Spoke To Me" is her first published book, but she looks forward to publishing more of her work in the near future.

Me and Jesus: God Spoke to Me by Mary F. Cook is a simply written story describing the love and strong bonds between a mother and daughter. This emotional tie proved paramount in saving the life of Mary’s mother. The writer learned of her mother’s failing health while working away from home. Realizing that her mother’s health was declining faster than should be normal, Mary returned home to find that her brother, who was responsible for the care and well being of their parent, was failing deeply in that regard.
The story is a simplistic account of the discovery of Bertha’s failing health and Mary’s intervention in the care of her beloved mother. At a very early age, Mary realized she could help change her world with her writing. It became her personal passion and goal to help the less fortunate members of society in their later years. Beginning with the unfortunate plight of her mother, her aim is now to reach out and enlighten many more on the subject of elder abuse. How she does that and what she hopes to achieve makes heart-warming reading as she reveals how true love and integrity within families could eliminate elder abuse.
How she accomplishes her goal within the confines of her own family shows the reader how easily abuse enters by way of a ‘trusted’ family member, and how easily it can be reversed – if caught in time. This book is written in a very easy to read style, with a sincere account of the discovery of and the rehabilitation of her much-loved mother after substantial abuse inflicted by another family member.
