Messages from the Pastor's Desk by Dr Jerry L. Jones is a motivating and uplifting book that makes the reader delve into their relationship with society and God. The book speaks about the power, love, and grace of God and His blessings in your life. It reiterates your faith and devotion in God. The author tells us to believe in God and how that will help us in meeting the challenges in our lives in a better manner. The writings in the book are inspiring and it raises one's awareness of the power of God.
I enjoyed the book thoroughly. We all are caught up in our daily lives where, at times, we get trapped in the chaos and negativity, inside and outside us. Reading the book gives you strength, peace, and harmony within yourself and your life. The book is short and it won't take much of your time. But I recommend this book because it is refreshing and inspiring. The author's love of and belief in God is genuine and it is evident here.
Messages from the Pastor's Desk is a book which encourages readers to surrender themselves in the faith of God always, in times of chaos and otherwise. He tells the reader to practise worship, discipline, reverence, compassion, and love. The power of God and His presence in our lives is portrayed well. Each saying in the book is powerful and the author has conveyed it fittingly.
