Mick and Moira and Brad is a romantic comedy novel by Gerald Everett Jones. Moira Halimi-Joubert is a successful criminal attorney who is used to helping her billionaire boyfriend, Brad Davenport - a hedge-fund manager - close deals with his clients. However, Moira's life turns upside down when she is offered the chance to fill the shoes of the pop superstar Chiffawn by high-end Hollywood agent Mick McGraw. Moira soon finds herself surrounded by people from the entertainment industry who are determined to make her the next global superstar. But living in the limelight comes with its own sets of challenges. To complicate matters, Moira is also attracted to Mick. Given a choice between life on the farm with a hedge-fund billionaire and being a pop icon, what will Moira choose?
A seamless blend of witty dialogue, humor, and romance makes Mick and Moira and Brad a thoroughly entertaining read you don't want to put down. Gerald Everett Jones's novel is a treat for anyone who loves romantic comedies. With a fast-paced plot and vibrant characters - who you're not going to forget soon - the narrative feels like a breeze. The three main characters, Mick, Moira, and Brad, all have strong yet distinct personalities that create a compelling dynamic, which is a delight to the reader. Their interaction involved some humorous and quick back-and-forth dialogue, and those were some of my favorite scenes from the book. If romantic comedy is your go-to genre, you will have a blast with this one.
