Molly and Michael travel around the world using a Magic Suitcase. In this story, Molly and Michael take us with them to explore the mysteries of South America where readers get a glimpse into the amazing ruins of Machu Picchu, the floating islands of Uros, llamas, and the culture and traditions of Peru. This book is educational and it encourages the concept of travelling in children.
Like his previous books, Molly and the Magic Suitcase: Molly Goes to Peru (Volume 4) makes delightful reading material. Children will absorb a lot of information about Peru while reading this book. The mysticism and the ancient beauty of the place have been captured well through the pictures and the story. The illustrations enhance the clarity of the story and give it the much required movement and pace. The place comes alive through the illustrations.
This book is a must-have for any library because it is easy to teach history to children using these kinds of stories and concepts.
