It is so refreshing to read a children’s picture book about Christmas where the major character is a person of color. Mr. Nap A. Lot learns what the spirit of Christmas entails in Mr. Nap A. Lot’s Merry Christmas Adventure by Shani T Night. Mr. Lot walks around the town noticing all the people enjoying the Christmas spirit by spending time together and being nice to each other. Love is in the air and families gather to spread that love and warmth for each other. Everyone is kind to each other and gives selflessly. Christmas is all about sharing love and spreading joy to all living beings. This book is a joy to read and share with your children. No matter what your religious background might be, you can enjoy sharing with your child how important loving each other is.
