Mona Moon and Robert Farley, Duke of Brynelleth, had boarded the RMS Majesty ocean liner for their honeymoon, hoping to have a wonderful time with no disturbances. However, on their first night after dinner, a storm hits, and they return to their suite, only to find that it has been raided. Precious jewelry, which they had used as collateral, had been stolen. This loss would be catastrophic for many people, and they need to find it before it's too late. The only lead they have is a waiter who had served them the previous night, but unfortunately, he is found murdered with one of the pieces of jewelry. As the ship sinks gradually, Mona must uncover the truth and retrieve the jewelry in time. If you want to know what happens next, read Murder Under A Honey Moon by Abigail Keam.
Murder Under A Honey Moon is a thrilling crime mystery novel that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It is the twelfth book in the Mona Moon Mystery Series by Abigail Keam. The story is set in the 1930s and offers commentary on the political and social climate of the era. The book has palpable tension because the criminal is hiding in plain sight. The intriguing characters are the highlight of the book, and they made me suspicious of everyone because the passengers and crew members had questionable motives and storylines. I loved the details and the trail of clues that perfectly added up at the end and led to the uncovering of the culprit. This is a fun story, and readers will love getting to know Mona because she is a formidable character who does not back down easily. Overall, it's great work, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves mystery novels.
