My Home on Whore Island by Dalia Lance is a steamy romance novel about a woman named Randi who is tired of ending up in relationships that don't work out. After her last boyfriend cheats on her, she talks to her best friends in the entire world and decides that she wants to "let loose," which for her means finding some playmates to become acquainted with. Randi spends the story recounting her adventures with the men she finds on dating websites, holding nothing back, and always speaking her mind. Overall, this book was such a fun and lighthearted read for the summer!
I read this entire book in just a few sittings over the span of two days! It was fast-paced, exciting, and absolutely sizzling. I loved every single moment of it. Dalia Lance knows how to write romance, and I am genuinely interested in seeing how this series continues. Randi was such an entertaining protagonist, and I think that was a huge part of why I was able to fly through the book. The plot was very focused and driven, and the different characters introduced throughout the various chapters all had differing qualities about them that made them a good or not-so-good match for Randi. I would recommend My Home on Whore Island to lovers of romance who are looking for a quick summer book that will have readers laughing out loud multiple times. Thank you, Dalia Lance, for providing such an enjoyable story for readers everywhere!
