Natalie’s Getting Married by Rosa Temple is a chick lit story of love and life. Natalie Spencer has never dreamed of getting married and has certainly never been in love. Until she met Jackson Humphries. With one look, her whole life changed. Gabriel is her best friend and he thinks that she is moving too fast and is blind to what stands before her. She dismisses his thoughts and heads off to buy her wedding dress. From there on, things seem to get a little out of hand and Natalie finds herself in the midst of a mess. With four wedding dresses, a groom on the run, and a girl who can’t see beyond the end of her nose, will there be a happily ever after for anyone?
Natalie’s Getting Married by Rosa Temple is a good read. There were a few moments where I felt a bit lost because there didn’t seem to be any real logic to some of the decisions that the main character made, but it did all make sense in the end. There were times when I wanted to reach into the book and give Natalie a good shaking and tell her to look at the obvious. The characters were all very well written and developed in a way that you really got to know them throughout the whole story, and the plot was well thought out. The story allows the characters to grow at their own pace and each has their own unique characteristics that most of us will be able to identify with. It wasn’t the longest of books but there was plenty going on. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a quick and easy read.
