Oblations is one of the most intense books I have ever read. The drama, suspense, and shocking revelations were almost overwhelming. Shariyah Levvi has written a captivating story that will stay with the reader for a long time. I must caution that this book is not suitable for sensitive readers as it contains disturbing scenes of sexual assault, drug use, and creepy rituals. However, this is a must-read as it delves into the decline of morality and how the music industry exploits young and talented people, filling their lives with vanity. The epic showdown was satisfying, and the open ending was perfect for future installments. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more from this author. Overall, it is a great piece of work.

Oblations is a work of fiction in the supernatural, occult adventure, and suspense subgenres. It is suitable for mature adult readers owing to explicit scenes of sex and violence as well as strong language throughout. Penned by author Shariyah Levvi, this gripping tale merges hip-hop, the occult, and history into a narrative of supernatural thrills and treachery. Rami and Hawk, two talented young rappers from Chicago, embark on a journey to sign a recording contract with Hardcore Records. Their rise from foster care to social media stardom sets the stage for a promising future, but as they delve deeper into the music industry, they confront unexpected challenges involving demonology and the Illuminati. The narrative explores the choices they must make, delving into themes of sacrifice and the price of fame.

Author Shariyah Levvi has crafted a novel that delivers an immersive experience into the world of hip-hop and the occult. I enjoyed the unique and imaginative blend of elements of the supernatural with the struggles of two protagonists trying to navigate the complexities of the music industry, which went together surprisingly well. The pacing keeps the reader engaged, and the infusion of history and occultism adds layers of intrigue that make it so you can never quite guess where the next thrill is coming from. The central characters, Rami and Hawk, are well-developed with some fantastic dialogue exchanges that highlight their attitudes and upbringing. Their journey becomes more than their music as they confront the darker forces at play in their lives, some literal and some metaphorical. Overall, Oblations is a highly recommended read that transcends genres, offering a unique and thought-provoking exploration of ambition, sacrifice, and the pursuit of success.

Prepare yourselves for a gripping supernatural thriller with Shariyah Levvi's Oblations. Gregory Hawk was only eight years old when his mother abandoned him and left him as an orphan. Raised in a group home, Hawk met Rami Black, another orphan with whom he grew up to be as close as a brother. As the two young Chicago boys step into adulthood, they become talented rappers and arrive in Los Angeles to make their mark under music producer Big Don Walker. However, the price of fame soon catches up to Rami, and he becomes besotted with a conniving woman named Vixen, who introduces him to the occult. Meanwhile, Hawk's relationship with Rami sours, and he finds himself in the company of an extraordinary man called Melaku Cohen. Using his Nephilim abilities, can Hawk stop Vixen and Rami's nefarious plans?

With a touch of romance, mystery, drama, intrigue, and a dash of the supernatural, Shariyah Levvi weaves an engaging yarn for readers. Oblations has its hooks in you from the very first page and keeps drawing you in the further you read. The narrative is well-paced, and you don't want to take too many breaks while reading. Levvi drops some unexpected curveballs that make the plot totally unpredictable, and you're constantly wondering what's going to happen next. The characters are well-developed, and they seamlessly slot into the machinations of the plot. One character named Mali has a rather alarming outlook toward a minority group that has some disturbing parallels to prejudiced people living in the real world today. Overall, I enjoyed the book and recommend it to supernatural thriller enthusiasts.

Oblations is a fantastic novel that took me on a roller coaster of emotions. The twists and turns are unexpected, and the ending is shocking. Shariyah Levvi is a creative writer who grabs your attention from the first scene to the last. Hawk and Rami start as ordinary people who have no idea what is going on in the spiritual realm or the music industry they want to be a part of. I loved their character development and the different paths they took. It shows that every individual has the choice to be good or bad, and their decisions have consequences. The book has great lessons that you can use when making life-changing decisions.
