Outdoor Sports Sticker Adventure is a children’s adventure/activities, crafts and games book written by the Hopscotch Girls. Who says girls have to sit at home and play with dolls or pretend to be little princesses? The Hopscotch Girls have loads of better ideas that mean adventure, excitement and lots of fun. In this book, over 150 stickers are provided along with a wide variety of outdoor locations for girls to place those stickers and fire up their imaginations. There are mountain scenes, lakes, ski slopes and a number of shore locations where girls can imagine themselves swimming, sailing, surfing or paddle-boarding. The authors also provide a page entitled “Tips for Starting Your Adventure,” which gives young readers real-world information on how they can get started with any of the adventures suggested in the book.
The Hopscotch Girls’ adventure sports crafts book for children, Outdoor Sports Sticker Adventure, offers excitement and opens outdoors opportunities to girls who are sometimes overlooked when it comes to sporting activities. I loved the way the stickers are provided separately from the adventure pages as creating the completed pages will fire up kids’ imaginations. The personal interaction of placing those stickers can lend a creative touch, encouraging girls to see themselves on that camping trip or skiing down those snowy slopes. Each of the outdoor panels is brightly colored and realistic -- and just waiting for young readers to populate them with the birds, wild animals and girls having unforgettable adventures in the outdoors. What a grand way to get girls interested in nature and sports! Outdoor Sports Sticker Adventure is most highly recommended.
