Nothing could have prepared the Ollivaros siblings—Nachton, Amelie, Cecilie, and Ewan—for what awaited them at an Atlanta airport they were rushing to as they were late for their flight. Amid the chaos of a hasty check-in, the four siblings lose their parents and unknowingly enter a portal into a different realm called Overtwixt. Upon arrival, they witness dragon-like creatures destroying the bridge that had led them into the foreign land, which they soon learn, from a centaur guide, was their only way back home. A tyrannical vizier has taken over Overtwixt and is destroying the bridges that connect the wonderland to its numerous floating islands and reality to trap everyone inside. The four siblings must each accomplish a mission assigned by the centaur to help overthrow the vizier, restore the bridges, and find their way back home. Will they manage the daunting tasks ahead? Find out in Overtwixt: Welcome to the World of Bridges by R. L. Akers.

If you are looking for a young adult epic fantasy packed with adventure, suspense, high-stakes action, drama, humor, and thrills, Overtwixt by R. L. Akers is a perfect pick.
