Planet of the Eggs: Eruption – Dawn of Dinosaurs and Dragons is the fourth in The Comic Book Series by Peggy Bechko and Charlene Brash Sorensen. The eggs of Eggland are not enjoying the sunny side of life anymore. Parker was accused of stealing the magical Diamond Egg, and now the Golden Feather is missing. In a scrambled rush to retrieve the precious Golden Feather that prevents earthquakes from destroying Eggland, the Legendary Six eggs - who possess super powers - rush through a time portal and find themselves in a Jurassic setting. While there, humans from Wyoming mistakenly come through the portal, driving a jeep. They unite to help each other when a dinosaur chases them. The humans can fight the dinosaur with their weapons and help search for the Golden Feather, and the eggs will send the humans back to Wyoming through the correct portal. However, they are unaware that a fire-breathing dragon wants to turn them into toast.
This has to be one of the most inventive and zany comic strip adventures I have ever read. Planet of the Eggs: Eruption – Dawn of Dinosaurs and Dragons has very colourful, fun sketches of egg-shaped characters combined with toy figures. It is the fourth novel from The Comic Book Series that will attract preteens or early teens who are looking for out of the ordinary stories to pass the time. Peggy Bechko and Charlene Brash have very active imaginations and a witty sense of humour.
