Life was going really well for ER Physician CJ Jones until one night when she is attacked by a patient. She wakes up to find herself being taken care of by the hot and handsome Chief of Surgery, Dan Brown. Dr. Dan has an attraction to CJ that causes him to be determined to take care of her. The only problem is, CJ knows what Dan is like, and has no desire to fall for him, but then things change, and so do her feelings for Dan. But when Dan had to do his job and suspends CJ from her job at the hospital, her life begins to take a spin for the worse and her only way out is to flee to an old friend in Hawaii, away from Dan and her old job. But it seems that not matter how hard she tries, CJ just can’t forget about Dan, and then to her surprise, he shows up on the island to see her. Would their love win out, and pull them back together?

"Poster Girl" started out pretty well, with the attack on CJ and the threats on the hospital by the patient’s family. Both Dan and CJ are determined and not afraid to go after what they want. But as I kept reading, the story started getting boring for me. It just didn’t have the twists and turns and excitement to keep me interested enough. I was glad it was a fast pace story because it didn’t take me that long to finish reading it. But this may be the book for you, if you are looking for a fast read with a lot of romance, but not a lot of action.
