Two of my favorite authors, Robin Jones Gunn and Tricia Goyer, have teamed up and have written a wonderful book, Praying for your Future Husband, Preparing Your Heart for His. Authors and good friends Robin Jones Gunn (Christy Miller series) and Tricia Goyer (author and former teen mom) believe God answers women's prayers for husbands—even husbands they may not meet for years. They invite young women to pray boldly for their future mate while also asking God to prepare their own hearts.

In Praying for Your Future Husband, Robin and Tricia share their two vastly different experiences, including the things they did right and the mistakes they made on the path to meeting and marrying their husbands. Each chapter includes helpful Bible verses, prayers, and practical application, along with true stories of women who prayed for a husband and how God answered in remarkable ways.

As a married woman and mom I didn't "need" this book. I am happily married, but as I read the book, I was glad to see that I did things "right". I, too, had prayed for my future husband, and God blessed me with a wonderful helpmeet and friend.

The way Tricia and Robin present their views and God's plan is a wonderful way for single women to "plant" seeds for their future. I like the way the authors presented how important it is to pray for your future and your marriage.

I truly couldn't find one thing I disliked about this read. In fact, if you are, or know a young lady who is, of marriageable age, then this would make a great present!
