Promotional Strategies for Books: How to Market & Promote Your Book (The Amazon Self Publisher 2) by Dale L. Roberts is a concise, to the point, clear book which any self-published author should read. As an independent author myself, I know how hard it is to promote yourself. Promoting others (as a blogger) is a completely different thing. Most authors feel threatened, at a loss when it comes to selling their books, trying to promote them the right way. That is why I chose to read this enlightening book and I was not disappointed, far from it!
Indeed, Promotional Strategies for Books teaches us the fundamentals of self-publishing all types of books. This book is a must-read since it tackles all the topics which are the most difficult to deal with for authors, especially beginners. You will learn how to avoid going wrong when self-publishing a book, how to build your brand, you will learn about how Amazon advertising works – and so much more - in a relaxed way as Dale always starts from his own valuable experience as a self-published author for six years. I have self-published books for three years and I have learned a lot from this comprehensive, neat guide. Everything is explained in detail, but also (most importantly) put into perspective and that is what I liked most about this volume! To top it all, you are also invited to enroll in the free DIY Publishing Course for Beginners created by Dale L. Roberts.
