Clara Masai, author of “Psychic First Steps” is a metaphysical writer, empath, telepath and palm reader who demystifies the mysteries of psychic phenomena. She started to have empathic experiences at the age of 12. As she sensed the motives of fellow students or crowds of people, she became overwhelmed. Then, she read about the subject extensively and developed her gift. Today, Masai is a 38-year-old expert on channeling, medium work, divination, intuition, etc. She says that imagination is the key. Learn how to block negative energy. Decode the symbolic meanings found in dreams. Bask in the energy of the element associated with your zodiac sign or communicate with a deceased loved one. Masai’s message is simple: psychic experiences are natural. Embrace them.

“Psychic First Steps” exceeded my expectations. The 56-page, comprehensive book included a brief history about the origins of the occult, scientific views of the brain’s mechanisms and in-depth explanations. Chapter Four, Dreaming and Meditation, is particularly well-written. Her meticulous account of the rooms of the house and their corresponding messages for our "real" life will surely result in an aha! moment. Masai is a talented writer. Her personal stories helped her connect with her readers and reinforced her intent to help them understand that they are not going crazy. Masai’s handbooks include “Beginner’s Palmistry,” “Meditations, Mantras and Ways to Stop Beating Yourself Up” and “Soulmates.” Her blog is “Psychic First Steps” is highly recommended.
