The best part, in my opinion, is the illustrations which are scenes created to elaborate on the themes presented in the jokes. Like all the other Punny Peeps books full of clever jokes, this one is a keeper.

What I liked most about Punny Peeps’ Silly Cat & Dog Jokes was that the overall theme was of spreading joy. At the end of the book, author Lisa Ayotte encourages children to not be sad that the book is over but to jot down their own jokes with their own characters and scenes. This is a sure way to keep children creative while also teaching them to bring laughter and smiles to others. The book is family-oriented with an emphasis on fun, sharing, and laughing. I really loved the images and thought they matched up so well with the jokes! The Peeps were also unique and should be a hit with children. All in all, this book was written with a joy that spans the pages and will be a family favorite for years to come.
