I am a dog lover. I admit this proudly. My dogs are more than pets; they are a unique part of my family. I have rejoiced at their adoption into our family and mourned at their loss. Only another dog lover can truly understand the bond between a dog and his human family. A furry head pressed against one’s leg brings comfort; a bark brings security, and a wagging tail brings pleasure.

Susan Luginbuhl raises Labs. In her book Puppies From Heaven she shares her experiences as a dog breeder. I could relate to the boy whose dog chose him. My German Shepherd did the same thing. He chose me. He came to me, placed his paw on my thigh, and looked at me in a way that said let us go home now. Sue is obviously a conscientious dog breeder. She cares about each puppy. She keeps her kennels clean, and each puppy receives their first shots. Potential pet owners receive advice on puppy care; unfortunately, they do not always follow the advice. Owners are unique just like their puppies. “There is an inimitable bond between dog and mankind that can never be broken. “ Puppies From Heaven is a delightful book. The stories are simple and easy-to-read. I enjoyed each story. I highly recommend Puppies From Heaven to dog lovers.
