Millions of people suffer with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and many never go for help. "Ramjet" is the help for those who are suffering from the effects of PTSD, and is a very valuable resource for everyone who reads this book. "Ramjet" is an autobiography by Roger Blake with the emphasis on how PTSD affected his life. In his book Blake gives his readers vivid details of his life from 1964 to the present, telling of his ongoing difficulties with PTSD.
As I read this book, I found it amazing how much this author went through before he was diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Roger Blake’s years as a Navy pilot in Vietnam ended in a difficult and confused life, and he had no idea that he had a medical problem causing it all. In writing "Ramjet", he is very honest about his life, and with the difficulties and trials he went through for years before he was diagnosed with PTSD. I highly respect Mr. Blake for pouring his heart out to the world in order to help others with this same illness. For me, this is not an ordinary autobiography, it is much more, and you will not want to miss reading this amazing book. If you suffer from PTSD, or have symptoms that suggest PTSD, or if you know someone with the affliction, then I strongly recommend that you add a copy of this book to your personal library. Reading "Ramjet" could very well change your life.
