Unfortunately, the way Kate stumbles upon her unique and high paying opportunity means the dashing yet arrogant billionaire believes her to be a prostitute. A reasonable assumption since she was hired as an escort initially. After a rocky start pierced with many moments of pure attraction, their lust is satisfied but quickly starts to grow into something more. Clarissa Cartharn writes a beautiful and poignant retelling of Cinderella in Red Collar. Kate struggles with her job, with what she is resorted to doing for survival, but at the same time she feels drawn to and inflamed by Clayton.
