Requiem for a Rescue Dog Queen (The Talking Dog Detective Agency Book 2) by MK Scott is a brilliantly entertaining sleuth mystery novel. It is a well-written story with endearing characters and a strong story line. The author's descriptive writing style is so skillfully done that the fact of one of the main characters being a canine seems quite natural and not at all out of the ordinary. Max is a delightfully droll character, who enhances each of the scenes he is in, and is a fantastic support for Nala, the protagonist. This is a clever sleuth mystery with a twist that will delight fans of any age who are lovers of cozy mysteries and mouthy canine companions.
