Risque Romance Vol 2 by Mandi Konesni is about two couples who lead very different lives. Abel and Naomi, and Ryder and Electra ride a supernatural rollercoaster of romance and love. Naomi is a dedicated scientist who makes a discovery that unravels every truth she thought she knew. Trying to understand the biological anomaly she has come across, Naomi stumbles upon Abel, who introduces her to a world she had only ever imagined to be real. Ryder and Electra are thrown together from the start, trying to solve a mystery that is haunting Ryder. Working as a team comes as a challenge to them; however, they quickly learn the real price of fighting for what you love.
Mandi Konesni has written two breathtaking tales in Risque Romance Vol 2! Naomi and Abel’s story evolves in such a delicate way that I truly felt like I was interrupting two real people falling in love. Every interaction between Abel and Naomi was carefully created, which made me feel like I could understand how Naomi’s world was changing. I thoroughly enjoyed Naomi and Abel’s reunion, and it felt like the perfect ending for them. I loved the dynamic between Ryder and Electra, and it felt like a breath of fresh air. Ryder’s alpha personality would be strongest at the most inopportune moments, and I love how real that made his character. Both stories were filled with banter, and I found the book to be incredibly entertaining. This book was an incredible experience of two intense love stories.
