We get to know the amazing Ryder K, a spirited little girl with a big love for nail polish and a dream of starting her very own nail polish business! Growing up in a loving family of entrepreneurs, she draws inspiration from the incredible women in her life—her grandma, aunts, and mom—who all run their own successful businesses. With such fantastic role models cheering her on, Ryder K is ready to embark on her entrepreneurial adventure. As she learns the ropes from her mom while helping out in the family business, Ryder discovers what it means to be a mini boss. Teamwork and hard work become her new best friends! Through fun interactions with her siblings and cousins, Ryder explores the exciting world of entrepreneurship, picking up valuable lessons about dedication, passion, and the magic of never giving up.
I'm so impressed that this book introduces the concept of entrepreneurship to children as young as seven. It's so much fun because of Ryder K's exciting adventures, which make it relatable. The illustrations are incredibly colorful and exciting, like something straight out of a favorite TV cartoon. I love how it explores important themes like teamwork, passion, hard work, and chasing your dreams. It's about supporting kids in pursuing their interests, even if they don't fit traditional career paths. I liked the inclusion of a glossary. It is a thoughtful addition to help with some words while reading. It’s a fantastic way to spark curiosity and learning. Entrepreneurial parents should definitely share this book with their kids, especially if they notice an interest in business. Ryder K may be young, but she already understands the essence of being an entrepreneur—proving that children can achieve amazing things with the right support and knowledge.
