Self-Care for the Overworked - 30 Days to Your Happier Life: Manage Anxiety, Stress Less, and Find Inner Peace is written by Peyton Slater. Self care can be a very tricky process for people who suffer from anxiety and stress. This book will help you guide yourself gently into a routine of reducing stress. Get to know your inner person and teach him or her to move forward, achieving healthy goals as you go. Normal tasks can feel like a burden but when put in order of what is most important, we can get more done and feel less stressed and anxious. There are several techniques that will help us reduce stress. This book shares several that can be introduced into your daily routine one by one until you find what works best for you.

Self-Care for the Overworked by Peyton Slater is a great guide to help relieve the stress and anxiety that millions of people face every single day. I love how Slater outlines the symptoms of stress and anxiety so that the reader can quickly understand that they are not alone and that there is help. The author also provides insight into possible triggers and several different things anyone can do to start feeling better by incorporating certain behaviors into their daily life. One of the most important things people forget is that all accomplishments are equally important. I love that Slater points out the importance of celebrating those achievements, no matter how small. I recommend Self-Care for the Overworked to anyone who wants to relieve stress and anxiety.
