Skye the Troll and other Fairy Tales for Children is a collection of short fairy tales and poems for young children. I love how each is broken down into different stories, so you can pick different ones to read each night to your child. It was hard choosing a favorite from each of the stories, as they were all whimsical and fun to read. We especially loved the colorful illustrations and how they brought each fairy tale to life. Through humor, poetry and inspiring books, Apryl Skies offers a book that will delight young children and inspire them to dream.

It is hard to find a good fairy tale book or collection of fairy tales for young children, but Apryl Skies hits a home run with this book. It's definitely a book I will be reading with my children for years to come, and one that will be talked about and shared amongst family and friends. Each story will truly ignite your child's creativity and imagination about magical places and people. I have read that this book is based on a series, but I have never seen it. It's definitely something I will be looking into. We now have a favorite fiction author in our family -- thanks to Apryl Skies and her magical book. If you are looking for a great book to read to your children this summer, you have to check out this book.
